Very often there is a certain need to limit the number of conversions, which could be driven to an offer. You may be just testing a new offer or any advertiser could give you a limited budget or even you would want to limit any affiliate’s volume for a specific offer. Anyway all this is possible within Scaleo platform.
How Does It Work?
This type of limitation is adjusted per goal. This means, you can set various caps for each goal of the offer, which brings more versatility. To add caps just open Goals edit page and find the caps block:
As follows, you can set these types of caps:
- Daily Cap - it is active for a current day and is reset each day at 00:00
- Monthly Cap - works till the end of a current month and is reset at the first day of the next month
- Total Cap - the overall goal's cap, which doesn't depend on any period
Another settings is Count Pending transactions, which allows to treat all pending conversions, as active and count them for caps calculation. It is optional, so feel free to set it where needed.
You can also notice the Current value counter, which is present for Total Cap - this counter starts working as soon as you set the Total Cap value.
Caps for Affiliate
You can set custom caps for one or several affiliates of the offer. It could be easily reached via Advanced Rules section of the offer.
Note: if you set a custom cap for the specific affiliate and its value is higher than the cap value within the specified Goal, your platform will use the cap value of the specified Goal and ignore the advanced rule.
