As for web, "client side" refers to everything that is displayed or takes place on the end user device. This includes the user interface (what the user can see) and any hidden elements along with any actions that an application performs within the user's browser.
Client side tracking is perfermed via a tracking pixel. The tracking pixel is an HTML code element, which is loaded, when any user visits a website or opens an email and is used to track users behavior and conversions.
iFrame & IMG Pixels
Usage of iFrame pixels is more preferable for client side (cookie based) tracking, as they fully support all Scaleo tracking features.
Please, use an IMG pixel only in case of impossibility of placing iFrame pixel by an advertiser.
IMG pixels usage restrictions: affiliate 3rd party tracking is not fully supported; 3rd party cookie based tracking is not available.

How To Place The Cookie Based Pixel Correctly
In order to have accurate statistics, please, place the pixel at the top part of the page. The best choice is to place it after the
<head> tag, if it doesn't break the design.
